Celebrating ALL Mothers! A personal story

This is a story I have made a point to share: My struggle to become a MOTHER. It took me 8 years, a million tears and few miscarriages to have my ‘miracle baby’. I celebrate this day with immense joy (more than any birthday, anniversary or milestone) but it comes with gratitude and humility because I remember the years when I was trying and it just wasn’t happening.

For those whom this day is not the happiest, I see you, I have been you, and I wish you all of the love and strength you need.

Which is why, I celebrate ALL mothers.

Your mother, Grandmothers, Step-moms, Sisters, Aunts, Cousins, Mommy-Friends, To-Be Mothers, Trying To-Get-Pregnant-Mothers….and YOU.

I want to recognize you ALL and raise a toast to all women who play some role of motherhood..no matter what the journey.

CHEERS MAMA! HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!
