1. Introduction
These Terms govern your use of the Jalpa Pandit LLC website, your purchase of products, and your engagement with our custom jewelry design and redesign services.
By accessing our website, placing an order, booking a consultation, or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Website Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our website or services.
Client-Supplied Jewelry & Gemstones
Many custom redesign projects involve vintage, antique, heirloom, or previously worn jewelry. While Jalpa Pandit LLC exercises reasonable care throughout the design and manufacturing process, previously worn jewelry and natural gemstones may contain hidden wear, fractures, structural weaknesses, or other conditions that cannot be identified prior to work commencing.
By proceeding with a redesign or repair project, you acknowledge and accept these inherent risks. Jalpa Pandit LLC is not responsible for damage resulting from pre-existing conditions, normal aging, hidden defects, or the inherent characteristics of client-supplied jewelry or gemstones during dismantling, stone removal, cleaning, resetting, repair, or manufacturing.
Sales, Returns & Shipping Policy
All sales are final. Jalpa Pandit LLC does not accept returns or exchanges under any circumstances. Please review your order carefully before completing your purchase.
If you receive an item that arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs. If, upon inspection, we determine that the damage resulted from a manufacturing defect or occurred during shipment, we will, at our discretion, repair or replace the item at no additional cost. Damage resulting from normal wear, misuse, or accidents is not covered.
Custom jewelry design & redesign projects: A non-refundable $500 design deposit is required before work begins. This deposit is applied toward the final project invoice. Once a design has been approved and production has commenced, the deposit becomes non-refundable, and no cancellations, refunds, or design changes may be made without our written approval.
Made-to-order pieces: Made-to-order items are produced specifically for you and are therefore final sale. No returns or exchanges are accepted.
Shipping: Complimentary shipping is offered on all US orders over $500. Standard delivery is 5–7 business days. We ship within the United States only and do not offer international shipping at this time. All shipments are fully insured and require an adult signature upon delivery. Risk of loss remains with Jalpa Pandit LLC until the package has been delivered to the shipping address and proof of delivery has been obtained.
Consultations & Appointments
Complimentary consultations are offered for custom jewelry design and jewelry redesign projects. Consultations are available virtually or in person by appointment at our studio, office, or another mutually agreed location within New York or New Jersey.
All information shared during a consultation is treated as strictly confidential. We reserve the right to decline projects that fall outside our area of expertise or capacity.
Booking a consultation does not constitute a commitment to proceed with a project by either party.
Intellectual Property
Ownership of the completed jewelry transfers to the client upon full payment.
All original jewelry designs, concepts, sketches, CAD renderings, digital models, photographs, and other creative materials produced by Jalpa Pandit LLC remain the intellectual property of Jalpa Pandit LLC unless ownership is expressly transferred in writing as part of a separate agreement.
Photographs, design sketches, CAD renderings, and other creative materials created during your project may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified, or used for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Website Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our business practices or applicable law. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised date. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically. Continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
